| Community Foundation of Fort ValleyThe Community Foundation of Fort Valley was established in 2002 by a group of citizens interested in encouraging philanthropy and strengthening our community. CFFV began by creating an endowment fund specifically for Fort Valley, which ensures that money will be available to keep Fort Valley healthy and thriving for years to come. As a local center for philanthropy, the Foundation works with individuals, families, corporations, private foundations, and non-profit organizations to carry out their charitable objectives and address emerging community issues. Our donors make possible the Foundation’s mission to enhance the quality of life for the people of Fort Valley.
Since its inception, CFFV has awarded more than $19,000 in grants. The Community Foundation of Fort Valley could not have achieved this without the support of its generous contributors and community partners who've made contributions to the CFFV unrestricted fund. This is a long-term fund that allows the Community Foundation of Fort Valley Board of Directors the discretion to make grants to address the most urgent needs and opportunities of the community. The CFFV Board will always be comprised of community leaders who know Fort Valley and will recognize its greatest needs at any given time. Needs change, but CFFV’s dedication to our community and its professionalism will not. For additional information regarding the Community Foundation of Fort Valley, please call 478-750-9338.
