Responsive Grant Program

CFCG has two responsive grant cycles each year with deadlines on April 15 and October 1. Through this Responsive Grant Program, applications for projects designed to improve the quality of life in Central Georgia will be accepted.  Priority is given to projects that reach a broad segment of the community, address needs that are not met by existing services, are innovative, encourage matching gifts and collaborations, yield substantial benefit for the resources invested, and encourage self-help and/or self-sufficiency on the part of disadvantaged or disabled individuals. The Board of Directors of the Community Foundation is responsible for reviewing these grant applications and allocating proceeds from these Unrestricted Funds.

 

 

Unrestricted Funds allow the Community Foundation’s Board of Directors the discretion to make grants to address the most urgent needs and opportunities in the community.  The following funds make the Responsive Grant Program possible:
