This report highlights the donors and community partners who give through the Community Foundation of Central Georgia. Many wonderful things are happening in Central Georgia thanks to our donors and board members. We are proud to share that despite the difficult economy, the Foundation saw an increase in grant making from its donor advised funds. And since our inception in 1993, the Foundation has grown to $54.5 million in assets and given more than $38 million in grants. The past two years have been exciting. We've launched a new website with the goal of being the trusted source for information on local philanthropy. Through Knight Neighborhood Challenge grants that fund the community's best ideas to improve the College Hill Corridor, catalytic change is occurring. And our partnership with Mason Investment Advisory Services allows us to maintain our commitment to long-term financial growth and relationships with local financial advisors. Finally, we would like to thank our 2008–2010 Board Chairman, Malcolm S. Burgess, Jr. for his leadership and commitment to the Community Foundation of Central Georgia.
